Introduction All sorts of factors enter into how we choose a mate. Where we live plays a large part in determining the people we meet; likewise our age, race, religion, and educational level influence our range of romantic contacts. For some, there are obligations of social class to satisfy, family expectations to consider, or economic circumstances to take into account. And certainly our physique makes us attractive to some and not to others, as well as attracting us to some and not to others. And yet, another factor involved in our choice of mate, at least as powerful if not more, is our personality type. Given a number of choices, determined by all the other factors-national origin, social background, physical attraction, and so forth-we will select our mate according to personality style. After all, what do we mean when we say that a person is, or is not, “our type”?
Each one is inspired, enraged and absolutely tortured by something slightly different. ESTJ — An incredibly impractical person is put in charge of all of your major life decisions. You have to do whatever they say and are powerless to argue or reason with them. INTJ — Every time you open your mouth to say something intelligent, something entirely idiotic comes out instead.
ESFP — You are stuck in a room by yourself for the rest of eternity.
Apr 10, · ISTJs (Introverted, Sensing, Thinking, Judging) are the straightforward thinkers of the group. “‘ISTJ’s are practical and direct in their approach to dating.
Everyone may respond to these feelings in different ways. Here is how each personality type responds to their jealous emotions. They can sense if someone is drifting away from them, or if that someone is going behind their back. Because of this the INFJ may become jealous and upset over their significant others actions. An INFJ who has experienced loss and abandonment may use manipulation to convince people to stay present in their lives. If they are used to being betrayed their trust issues may get the better of them.
An INFJ who is in a secure relationship will do very well and be capable of maintaining healthy levels of jealousy. Because of this strong need to make others happy, ENFJs may be prone to jealousy. They often become uncomfortable if their loved one is going to others for things that they can easily provide for them. If they feel like they are being phased out, or are no longer appreciated they may become jealous.

Jul 08, · One of today’s most popular and widely recognized typologies for human behavior is the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) which was built in large part upon Jung’s theory of four psychological functions (sensation, intuition, feeling, and thinking) and attitudes (introverted vs. extroverted).
It happens so frequently that I decided to write an article about it. Now, I don’t blame them because I can see why someone would confuse the two: Another thing to mention is that every job interview nowadays seems to look for creative, global big picture thinkers, who are innovative and all that supposedly intuitive stuff which makes ESTJs want to be like that. It often makes them think they ARE intuitive if they can plan for the future or think abstractly. This is often a misconception for many other types as well.
However useful and fascinating it may be, MBTI is fertile ground for stereotyping and prejudice and the fact that a lot of people don’t know how to objectively describe or assess themselves doesn’t help either. Fake free MBTI tests have also helped create a misconception that intuitives are more creative, understand the world better or that they are more intelligent.
The Meyers-Briggs test defines personality types, based on the work of psychologist Carl Jung. Individuals take the test to learn whether they are extroverts or introverts, for example, or whether they process information by “perceiving” or by “judging. According to the test, these individuals have a natural talent for planning, and a tendency to gravitate toward leadership positions.
This personality type constantly scans the environment for problems, and is creative in devising solutions.
Social network is for quick and interesting communication. We are a LGBT friendly site, we respect all religions and races. Our advantage is unity, tolerance, youthful liberal ideas and selflessness. We are united by logic, feelings, good sense of humor, sarcasm, curiosity and faith.
Although it may have started with the Egyptians or Mesopotamians, the first typology of temperament is credited to an Ancient Greek physician named Hippocrates who developed a model of personality types called The Four Humors. Typology of temperament is as old as mythology, so it is probably no coincidence that both were popularized by the Ancient Greeks. A myth, by its definition, explains how the world came to be through a story where the main characters are gods, supernatural heroes, or extraordinary human beings.
In Jungian psychology, archetypes are patterns of thought and images that exist in all cultures and individuals and are unconsciously expressed through art, literature, and other patterns of behavior. The MBTI is a four-letter indicator representing four dimensions: Introversion action oriented vs. Intuition concrete information gathering vs. Feeling logic-based decision making vs.

It follows a questionnaire method and was devised by eminent psychiatrist Carl Jung in his acclaimed work Psychological Types. Personality Traits They say some people are born to lead. Well, ENTJs are those people. Quite a few of their personality attributes make them well-suited to be in charge. They are probably the most charismatic of all personality types.
Their behavior, attitude and actions draw people towards them. It also helps that they are clever and can think fast. The combination of extroversion and rational thought means that ENTJs are always able to convince people and make them see their point of view.
Conceptualists – NT
It’s been quite some time since I got interested in typology and ENTJs are direct and commanding communicators, often with a clear idea of what needs to be done and and a take-charge attitude toward organizing people and projects. ENTJs are organized and strategic in their thinking.
Aug 31, · Personality Hacker receives a lot of emails from people asking for clarification around their personality types. Many do a lot of their own research until they narrow it down to two possible types before contacting us and asking for help.
Strongly humanitarian in outlook, INFJs tend to be idealists, and because of their J preference for closure and completion, they are generally “doers” as well as dreamers. This rare combination of vision and practicality often results in INFJs taking a disproportionate amount of responsibility in the various causes to which so many of them seem to be drawn.
INFJs are deeply concerned about their relations with individuals as well as the state of humanity at large. They are, in fact, sometimes mistaken for extroverts because they appear so outgoing and are so genuinely interested in people — a product of the Feeling function they most readily show to the world. On the contrary, INFJs are true introverts, who can only be emotionally intimate and fulfilled with a chosen few from among their long-term friends, family, or obvious “soul mates.
This apparent paradox is a necessary escape valve for them, providing both time to rebuild their depleted resources and a filter to prevent the emotional overload to which they are so susceptible as inherent “givers. Due in part to the unique perspective produced by this alternation between detachment and involvement in the lives of the people around them, INFJs may well have the clearest insights of all the types into the motivations of others, for good and for evil. The most important contributing factor to this uncanny gift, however, are the empathic abilities often found in Fs, which seem to be especially heightened in the INFJ type possibly by the dominance of the introverted N function.
This empathy can serve as a classic example of the two-edged nature of certain INFJ talents, as it can be strong enough to cause discomfort or pain in negative or stressful situations. More explicit inner conflicts are also not uncommon in INFJs; it is possible to speculate that the causes for some of these may lie in the specific combinations of preferences which define this complex type. For instance, there can sometimes be a “tug-of-war” between NF vision and idealism and the J practicality that urges compromise for the sake of achieving the highest priority goals.
And the I and J combination, while perhaps enhancing self-awareness, may make it difficult for INFJs to articulate their deepest and most convoluted feelings. Usually self-expression comes more easily to INFJs on paper, as they tend to have strong writing skills. Since in addition they often possess a strong personal charisma, INFJs are generally well-suited to the “inspirational” professions such as teaching especially in higher education and religious leadership.

Many people are attracted to them, bolstered by the fact that ESTJs tend to be physically fit. However, they usually only enter relationships when they have the time and when there is long-term potential. They will put in maximal effort to make sure that it works, as they seek stability and security. In addition, seeing it as their duty to protect their loved ones, ESTJs are very good at shielding their partners from harm.
What are ENTJs like as partners? In relationships, the ENTJ is a commanding and challenging partner. ENTJs have high expectations for themselves and for their partners, and want a mate who will put in the time and effort necessary to create a successful life together.. ENTJs prefer to have their homes and lives structured and organized, and may be domineering in imposing this structure on others.
Once you figure them out, you spend your life analyzing everybody else. Myers Briggs marks everyone on four scales: Do you get your energy from being with people, or from being alone? When you need to think something through, do you call a friend, or go for a walk yourself? Many introverts are great at parties. Do you like detail, or are you a big picture person?
Do you like taking things apart and figuring them out, or dreaming up new ways of doing things? Do you like following a pattern or creating your own? Do you make decisions based on logic, or based on emotion? Do you like being organized, with lists and plans, or would you rather be spontaneous and go with the flow?
